LINAK installed 38 robots within five years to keep production in Denmark competitive

In the beginning of this decade, LINAK, a Danish manufacturer of electric linear actuator solutions, started implementing industrial robots in its Danish production facility.

Today LINAK from the small Danish town Guderup is in the possession of an almost fully automatized and modern factory that produces the linear actuator systems in, for example, height adjustable desks.

The participants at MADE Industrial Visit to LINAK were having a guided tour in the production facilities of the Danish manufacturing company and were also hearing about the automation journey from the company itself.

One the key takeaway points was that success with robots and new technology is not only a question of choosing the right technical solution. It also about engaging and educating employees, making considerations regarding work environment, and ensuring that initiated projects are quickly and efficiently delivering the expected results.
