International activities

MADE is a partner in several international projects and initiatives focused on research and innovation in the manufacturing sector. The target group for these international projects is diverse: from startups and established companies to manufacturing technology researchers.

We offer assistance in these areas: solving specific challenges or stress-testing advanced new manufacturing technologies; gaining fresh inspiration from European first-movers; testing your company’s digital maturity level; obtaining funding for experiments; and joining transnational multi-stakeholder projects and networks.

International demonstration projects

MADE offers tailored programmes for Danish SMEs to receive help from overseas centres of excellence to overcome specific challenges or try out new production technologies for six months from project kick-off.

During the course of the project, the SME can draw on the skills of experts up to an amount of DKK 100,000.

MADE Field Trips

Join a tour outside Denmark with other companies to gain new insights, visit local companies and benefit from networking with international partners.

ADMA Trans4Mers

MADE is a Danish partner in ADMA TranS4MErs, an EU initiative helping SMEs to become factories of the future through training and mentoring.

Embark on your international partnering by completing the Advanced Manufacturing (ADMA) company scan. Also available in a Danish language version, the ADMA scan provides insights into your organisation’s strengths and weaknesses in relation to advanced production and digitalisation. The international ADMA scan returns feedback, and depending on your score, you can apply for help to boost your organisation.

EDIH – European Digital Innovation Hub

MADE partners with two Danish EDIHs: AddSMART in North Denmark Region and TechCircle in Central Denmark Region, which companies can join to get up to speed on using Industry 4.0 technologies, digitalisation and international partnerships on these advances.

EIT Manufacturing

MADE partners with the EIT Manufacturing innovation network to facilitate Danish SME access to additional resources within the EU, including EU advanced manufacturing networks.

AI REDGIO 5.0

MADE is partner in the EU project AI REDGIO 5.0 that aims to consolidate the collaboration in the pan-European network of Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) by enhancing the offering of regional DIHs to manufacturing SMEs on three levels: policy impact, technological impact and business impact. The project has 43 partners representing 15 regions in Europe. Aalborg University is associate partner through MADE developing IoT solutions for Danish IoT experiments.

DIH2

MADE has joined a network dedicated to SME transformation through the application of robotics and artificial intelligence to power SME agility and accelerate their growth.

EU-DK Support

MADE is part of the EU-DK Support network that assists companies finding information about various support programmes. This includes research, innovation, regional development, startups and higher education. Companies may need help to locate the best programme and start applying. At EU-DK Support network gathers all offers from Danish public financial support schemes. EU-DK Support is your entrance to the right EU advicer.

We can also be your one-stop-shop and bridge-builder to a specific knowledge provider or company. MADE scouts for new initiatives and projects to match the interests of Danish industry.

We represent Manufacturing Denmark within European counterparts to MADE such as EFFRA and Manufuture.
