I4MS is a European initiative created to strengthen the digitization of manufacturing SMEs.
The goal of I4MS is to ensure that SMEs keep up with the digital development, by investing 33 million euros in a series of projects that will provide SMEs with the necessary technological and economical support enabling them to explore digital technologies, for example the Internet of Things, cloud-based simulation, data analytics and additive manufacturing. I4MS works toward this goal by granting SMEs access to existing knowledge and practice, whilst also providing an insight to funding opportunities for digital projects.
The initiative offers an online community in which production companies can be matched with relevant suppliers, and more. For more information about the I4MS project: www.i4ms.eu.
