Studietur – State-of-the-art manufacturing in Flanders

Explore the innovative manufacturing industry in Flanders and get insight into state-
of-the-art production technologies and high-tech research at the Flanders Make Symposium event on MADE’s study mission.

A unique ecosystem driving innovation

More than 5,700 high-tech companies are operating in Flanders, primarily due to the region’s central location in the heart of Western Europe and it’s an innovative ecosystem of suppliers and competence centres.

Additionally, Flanders is a European hotspot for research, with a high concentration of universities, R&D-ready companies and research centres focusing on advanced manufacturing, including the well-renowned Flanders MAKE.

Industry visits, Symposium, and networking

This study mission for MADE members is arranged in cooperation with Flanders MAKE. We will be visiting high-tech manufacturers, research labs, and attend the event Symposium 2023.

Furthermore, we will be visiting Atlas Copco, CNH Industrial and Materialise at three company visits.

At the Symposium event you will experience live-demos and inspiring keynote speakers presenting technological trends that define the future of the manufacturing industry.

Network with likeminded

In addition to learning from the region’s focus on advanced manufacturing, this study mission is a great opportunity to network with an exclusive group of other MADE members that share an interest in advanced manufacturing.
