About the seminar
Resources scarcity and supply chain resilience are dominating the manufacturing agenda. The focus is on making effective use of the available resources and on increasing the life-time or re-manufacturing products, which have reached their end-of-life.Â
Re-manufacturing of worn-out components is developing into an expanding market for many companies worldwide, as well as for suppliers and end-users. Intensive R&D activities are carried out within various production disciplines to enable, qualify and bring re-manufacturing technologies to the market. An increasing number of companies have started the implementation of take-back and re-manufacturing in production. At this seminar Grundfos offers a rare insight into their re-manufacturing production line.Â
The seminar will present some of the leading actors in the field of re-manufacturing along with the absolute state-of-the-art in the technology and set the boundary conditions formed by the latest legislation in the field.Â
It also includes a visit to the Grundfos site, and a Factory Tour of the re-manufacturing production line for pumps on-site, and an introduction to actual, working take-back and re-manufacturing in production.Â
Target audience
The seminar is intended for professionals working with re-manufacturing, re-use and take-back systems.
Organizers
This seminar is organized by Tom Holstein Magnussen from Grundfos, Michel Honoré from Force Technology and Bjarke Buhl – members of Teknologisk Videndeling’s Production steering group.
