Welcome to the 11th Brainnovation Day at Aarhus University
This year’s theme focuses on a growing challenge for many companies: understanding materials, interfaces, and defects at the nanoscale. The event brings industry and university experts together to explore how advanced characterization can support innovation, product development, regulatory compliance, and manufacturing stability.
The Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center (iNANO) and the Department of Chemistry host a broad suite of state-of-the-art facilities for materials characterization, nanofabrication, optical analysis, and bio-nano research. Many of these techniques help companies solve problems faster than standard laboratory tools allow.
The morning program presents real industrial cases and short, accessible overviews of key facilities. You will hear how companies use nanoscale insights to make decisions, troubleshoot challenges, and accelerate development.
In the afternoon, guided laboratory tours provide a closer look at selected facilities and offer time for questions and conversation with specialists.
We look forward to welcoming you to a day that aims to inspire new collaborations and make advanced characterization more accessible to industry.
