Partner event: Robotics market visit to Singapore

The market visit is organised by Odense Robotics in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Denmark, the Trade Council.

Singapore market overview

In 2021, Asia, the world’s largest industrial robotics market, accounted for 74 % of all newly deployed robots. Singapore was the seventh largest Asian robotics market with 3,467 units installed in 2021. In terms of robot density, Singapore ranked number two. The robots installed in Singapore are mainly within advanced manufacturing of electronics.

Robots have a vital role in the Singaporean government’s roadmap for sustainable growth. Key industries in Singapore, ranging from logistics, hospitality, food manufacturing, aerospace, maritime, advanced manufacturing, and electronics, have sped up the deployment of robots in workplaces to meet customers’ demands and workplace satisfaction. To help companies adopt robots for productivity and safety, the Singaporean government has various plans for eligible companies, including funding up to 50 % of procurement costs. There is also project-based funding for Singapore-based companies to tap into robotics and automation research and product development.

If you’re a Danish company looking to expand your robotics solutions into the Asian market, consider Singapore as your next destination to lay the groundwork for your growth strategy. Come join Odense Robotics’ market visit to Singapore to gain candid insights to the local robotics ecosystem and network with key stakeholders.

The robotics market visit to Singapore will provide participants with insights into Singaporean industries with the objective of enabling them to forge relations to potential partners in the region.

The market visit to Singapore is a joint trade promotion, run by funding from the Trade Council.
