15.00 Future Manufacturers meetup with startups, manufacturers, advisors, investors and more
We bring together hardware startups, manufacturers, advisors, investors, mentors and others with experience and interests within manufacturing in an informal setting to encourage effective networking and exchange of tips and ideas.

15.15 Hardware is hard – Especially on your bank account
Do you know your true cost of goods? A great hardware product is only as good as its financial foundation. The path from idea to a profitable product is a minefield of hidden costs, inventory traps, and funding gaps. Financial management will soon be one of your most powerful tools for survival.

Mikkel Kristiansen, CEO of VentriJect, will share some of the essential metrics and rules that separate successful hardware startups from the rest.

15.35 Avoid feature creep – and get your product into users' hands faster
The biggest challenge in product development is rarely innovation. It's discipline. While it would be great to develop a product that solves several problems at once, it would most likely take a lot of time to get all features to play well together. You have to kill those 'darling' features before they kill your time-to-market.

Jan Larsen, Sr. VP of R&D at INVISIO, will share how established hardware players rigorously define, prioritize and avoid the pitfalls of endless feature additions.

16.00 Our current challenges – with the startups of Batch 3
The participating startups in Batch 3 will each give a short presentation of their current manufacturing related challenges – and hopefully others in the room can provide advice or connections to help them overcome their challenges. Challenges could include anything from decisions about materials, sourcing of components, mechanical design issues to CE marking, packaging and make-or-buy decisions. And much more.

16.30 - 17.30 Networking, drinks and snacks
