MADE FAST – Flexible, Agile, Sustainable manufacturing enabled by Talented employees was launcehd in April 2020 as a new reasearch and innovationplatform in MADE In a collaboration between five universities, three RTO’s, four knowledge institutions and more than 50 small and big companies MADE FAST developed new technologies and methods to make Danish manufacturing more sustainable and efficient.
MADE FAST was built on the results achieved in the MADE SPIR and MADE Digital platforms.

MADE Digital was launched in 2017 as a new research program in MADE – Manufacturing Academy of Denmark.
MADE Digital builds on the research of MADE SPIR with the aim of accelerating the digital transformation of Danish manufacturing companies. MADE Digital is a Danish equivalent to Germany’s Industrie 4.0, but suited to Danish conditions. Many companies in Denmark are among the best in the world within their niches, producing in small volume to customer specific needs, and Danish industry has a tradition of collaboration and mutual trust. These are the strengths, MADE Digital builds upon.
In MADE Digital, large companies collaborate with smaller companies, research teams from universities and technical experts from the RTOs. They collaborate in nine different work packages, which you can read more about here.

The research platform MADE SPIR (Strategic Platform for Innovation and Research) was launched in 2014 as one the largest commitments in Denmark’s history to research and innovation in manufacturing.
In MADE SPIR, universities, companies, and RTOs collaborate and develop new solutions through the work in nine different work packages.
