The Danish Embassy in London, in a partnership with CenSec and Rolls-Royce, invites Danish de- fence, space and security companies to participate in the ”Innovation Tech Challenge”.

This challenge aims to identify innovative solutions in five advanced technology areas of interest to Rolls-Royce:

1. Future Fuels & Energy Transition Technologies

2. Nuclear Technologies

3. Reciprocating Engines and Power Conversion

4. Advanced Materials

5. Service & Repair Technologies

Phase 1: Screening and initial evaluation

Rolls-Royce will conduct a screening of applicants to evaluate the compatibility of their proposed solutions with Rolls-Royces current innovation needs and the selected companies will advance to the second phase.

If your company wants to participate in the screening process, please fill out the enclosed powerpoint file with a description of your company on the second slide and a brief description of your proposed solution/technology with regard to any of the five five advanced technology areas described above on the third slide.

The powerpoint file can be send to either Anders Laustsen from CenSec or Per Andersen from the Danish Embassy on London.

Deadline: 31th March 2025

Rolls-Royce will conduct a screening of applicants to evaluate the compatibility of their proposed solutions with Rolls-Royces current innovation needs. Selected companies will then advance to the second phase.

Phase 2: Pre-meeting with selected stakeholders at the Danish Embassy and presentation of solutions at Roll-Royce with their Innovation & Engineering teams.

Time: London 20 May 2025 – Bristol/Derby 21st May 2025.

After the pre-meeting at the embassy the companies selected during phase 1 will be invited to present their technology solutions directly to Rolls-Royce Innovation and Engineering teams in Bristol or Derby on 21 May 2025. This phase provides an opportunity for hands-on discussions and showcases of technologies, with feedback and potential for future collaborations.

Price

Participation in Phase 1 is free of charge. Participation fee for Phase 2: SMEs that are selected to participate in phase 2 will pay DKK 15.625 (not including flight, transportation and accommodation)
