The expansion of the collaborative robots from Universal Robots made Niels Rask take a decision some years ago: We are going to have collaborative robots as well.
From that point, the owner and CEO of NS System, a Danish supplier of different visibility solutions on textiles, handed over the task to his employees. They had to find out where and how to benefit from collaborative robots in the production department.
“In the beginning there was some skepticism about introducing robots and whether they would make some jobs needless. Today, the employees are happy to have the robots. They see how the robots are supporting them and know that robots can’t do all the work,” Niels Rask says.
In fact, involving the employees actively in the continuous transformation to a more digital and automated production has proved to be the key to success for Niels Rask and NS Systems.
