Sustainability strategy was a gamechanger for family owned printing house

"It has meant survival to us," Kasper Larsen, Chief Commercial Officer at KLS PurePrint, said in front of almost 150 participants at a MADE conference about the future of Danish manufacturing in the beginning of February.

He talks about the journey of KLS PurePrint, a Danish familiy owned printing house.

In 2007, the printing house was threatened on its existence due to a rapidly declining market for prints.

Kasper Larsen and the rest of KLS PurePrint decided to something about that and transform the company completely.

Today, employees drive electric vehicles and the company has its own wind turbine to produce power for the printers that print biodegradeable products and packing solutions. KLS PurePrint is now growing remarkably in sales and number of customers.
